Came across this guy whilst I was in Tokyo! All I can say is wow. These remixes are incredible... Starsmith, formerly down as Finlay Dow-Smith, comes from a strong musical background having received a classical performance degree from the University of Surrey on the sax! He opted to be more electronic and this has seen him not only remix but also produce amazing sounds with acclaimed pop-stars the world over. Remixing Katy Perry, Lady Gaga, Passion Pit and Marina and the Diamonds just to name a few has created him into this masterful-uk-electronic-star. He also produced and co-wrote 5-tracks on Ellie Goulding's debut album Lights and we hear that he is currently collaborating with Cheryl Cole and Kylie Minogue. He's debuting his first two singles titled 'Give Me a Break' and 'Knuckleduster' on August 29th so keep an ear out for that as this guy's one to watch.
